Jeffrey Bengtson – Managing Member

Jeff has worked on numerous transactions for senior lenders, private equity firms and strategic acquirers. Jeff’s engagement experience includes transactions in the telecommunications, cable TV, restaurant, transportation, financial services, software and manufacturing / distributions industries.

Prior to co-founding CTS, Jeff was with American Capital Strategies, a publicly traded buyout and mezzanine fund managing pre-investment due diligence reviews, managing the “mark-to-market” valuation process for over 30 portfolio investments and monitoring portfolio investments. ____

Prior to joining American Capital, Jeff was a Senior Manager in the Transaction Services practice at Ernst & Young, LLP. Prior to joining Ernst & Young, Jeff spent three years as the CFO/COO for American Wood Moulding, LLC, a $200 million manufacturer/distributor of wood mouldings to the home center industry.

Jeff began his career at MCI Telecommunications Corporation where he spent six years in Corporate Planning and Business Development. Jeff earned an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management (Northwestern University) and a BS in Finance from the University of Maryland. Jeff is a CPA in the State of Maryland.
